Winter Tones

Winter tones

The colors may fade as winter comes, but the textures are still beautiful. I gathered these pieces of bark, branch, and leaves together and laid them across a weathered picnic bench.

I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure in the landscape - the loneliness of it - the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it - the whole story doesn't show. ~Andrew Wyeth
