R is for Rhododendron

I stumbled upon the "Leap Into Spring" prompt yesterday and am excited to participate...this week's prompt is "blossoms/trees". Click on the button at the bottom of this post if you'd like to play, too! I've been taking shots of my rhododendron bush all week in various states of weather and bloom. I'm sharing my favorites - I wish all these gorgeous spring trees, bushes, flowers, etc., could bloom all summer long. rhododendron morning rhododendron rain rhododendron sunset rhododendron fog

  1. Beautiful! I'm so impressed when people know the names of flowers and plants. I take so many flower pictures, I should really learn!

  5. I love the clarity in your photos! I nearly planted my nose on my computer screen to inhale the scent when I realized that photography does not capture that sense. Hehe. Beautiful work!

  6. Your photos are all so lovely! I love the purple/pink color against all the green - it really pops! I love how the light is filtering through the trees in the third photo. The last photo is breathtaking. The colors are so soft and that fog in the background is gorgeous! Beautiful!

  8. I'm in love with all of them, but the last one tugged at my heart. The foggy backdrop is something special. I pinned it to our Leap into Spring Board. Thanks so much for sharing your talents and linking to our Leap into Spring Challenge!
