You don’t have to go looking for pictures. The material is generous. You go out and the pictures are staring at you. ~Lee Friedlander

Nature makes it very easy...especially in October. The challenge becomes picking a few favorites out of the hundreds of photos I'm taking. That's not a bad problem to have...these are a few from last week when the trees were barely starting to turn. They're getting much more vibrant with each passing day! More to come - have a wonderful weekend.

  1. Love your perspective in each of today's photos -as though you are focusing on the singular beauty but still taking in the entire scene. Natural beauty never disappoints.

  2. No doubt about it: there is a lot of beauty about at present/
And I am in the middle of planting heaps more this week, for next Autumn. You have to look forward, don't you.

  3. Lovely shots Sherri and the Fall beauty is so generous with all of it's colors and rich beauty. So sad that winter comes right behind this. How quick the weeks fly by. I too have really fallen behind in my blogging. Lots going on in life and just seems as if my time gets away from me. Hope that all is well with you. Who knows, maybe some florida time will be in your winter photos!
