Frosty Coat

winter snow

I'm discovering that February is a hard month for me and my camera. I've taken some photos this month, but so many of them are blah. Where's the color?? This is one I took six weeks or so ago when we had a small snow storm one day. At least it looks pretty and covered up all the blah browns everywhere. I guess this is the time for me to start practicing more with my indoor photography!

  1. Well, this shot is beautiful...and it does have a bit of color hidden away in it. You are definitely having some cold weather. Wish some of that snow would come here to the VA mountains. I am trying to work on my still life shots, but they are so different from being outside and just shooting at a pretty image. Good luck to you.genie

  2. I know what you mean! However, I love what you've done here, it works so well. Soon be spring and colours will come through again!

  3. Oh, I do know what you mean Sherrie! I am hoping that spring might possibly come early this year. We are definitely in need of some color. Actually, I would be happy with just a little sunshine!

I love what you did with this photograph! It reminds me of a wonderfully snowy and "colorful" winter.

Thank you so much for sharing with us today at The Creative Exchange.

    Have a wonderful evening!

  4. Regardless of colour (or lack of) Sherri, I love the way it makes me feel ~ I want to hunker down and snuggle under a warm quilt - and it's mid Summer here! :-) Well done.
