Scavenger Hunt Sunday

The prompts for this week's Scavenger Hunt Sunday were nature, vintage/retro, whimsical, cooking, and week's best. I'm happy I was able to participate again this week...click below to join in!

Sperryville, VA
1. Nature. Another one of my Sperryville photos...I love the curvy road in the distance.

2. Vintage/retro. We stopped in an antique store while out on our country drive. It was enormous, and I captured this shot near one of the windows...I love the lighting. I could've bought the whole store! Such beautiful vintage items...

whimsy
3. Whimsical. The front porch of the antique store...those mushrooms are very whimsical. I took some liberties with some layers to add a little more whimsy.

4. Cooking. I had to go to the archives for this one...I didn't due any fancy cooking this week (or any worthy of photos).

Occoquan, VA
5. Week's Best. This was at the Occoquan Park recently - I actually took the photo a couple weeks back, but just edited it this week. I hope that counts? I love the mums with the water in the distance.

    You have a great set! I love the mums too- beautiful! and it looks like I could spend a lot of money in that antique store as well!

    Love your shots here Sherri! I am especially drawn to the one that you took in Sperryville of the gorgeous trees and the windy road. Isn't Fall just gorgeous. Scavenger Hunt Sunday always looks so fun. I have never participated in it, but every week enjoy everyone elses shots. hope you have had a lovely weekend!

    Wonderful set.
    Your Nature shot is gorgeous and my favorite from your set.
    I also liked your Whimsical shot and the treatment you gave it.
