Story

the story of trees

For Texture Tuesday this week, we are to incorporate "story" into our image somehow. I decided to use text because it's becoming my favorite thing to merge image and words together. I found this beautiful quote which comes from an old book of prose, and the tree photo is one I took on my street last fall. The sun was setting and the lighting against the leaves gave them a beautiful glow. I used Kim's "Phoebe" texture at Linear Burn/100%, and I also added a layer of an old book to achieve the texture in the upper right corner of the image.
