If I Had a Million Dollars
If I had a million dollars, the first thing I'd do is buy oceanfront property...and this would be my view every day as I walked to the water. I can't imagine a life where I could walk alongside the ocean on a daily basis...it would be pure heaven. I'm linking up today with Kathy's Song-ography prompt (click HERE to visit her lovely blog and participate). Thanks for letting me fantasize for a few moments, Kathy! It sure was fun while it lasted. :)
I've never been a millionaire but I just know I'd be darling at it. ~Dorothy Parker

I'm sure we'll be meeting up on that fantasy beach with the million dollar view.
ReplyDeleteMm, that's the ticket! Gorgeous picture, I can feel myself relaxing looking at it!
ReplyDeleteA GREAT DREAM Sherri, and one that I would share with you! Nothing better than the ocean as your home base. This is such a gorgeous shot, and one I'll bet you took on your summer trip. Hope life is rosy for you, and the summer rush has settled a bit. Looking forward to more of your poetry!
ReplyDeleteYour beach shots have been fantastic. I have enjoyed taking the journey to the sea and sand with you...it's been magical. And I'm with you...life on the water would be soul-satisfying!
ReplyDeleteI might become your neighbor on that marvelous beach...waking up to the sound of waves, seagulls, lonely walks in the morning...bliss!
ReplyDeletea little cottage, at the sea, sounds dreamy to me!!
ReplyDeletea beautiful image and my kinda view!!
Ya just never know...so much begins with a dream :). What a gorgeous photo. That sky is pure beauty! Thanks for joining in on Song-ography.
ReplyDeleteThat would be very very nice!
ReplyDeleteNice picture of the dunes. I see so many writing about this subject, strange.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Beautiful photo! And that would be at the top of my list too ... oceanfront property.
ReplyDeleteNothing like living near the water. I live a few miles from teh beach and feel so blessed. Sad part-most of the oceanfront properties are more than a million. In fact people spend a million, tear down, and build something new. Where do they get all that money? I sell real estate, but not the ocean front kind. Rats.
ReplyDeleteHope you find 5 million dollars so you can buy a waterfront home, and afford to pay the taxes too. : )
Ahhh....it would be wonderful to start every day with that view!
ReplyDeleteThe ocean is a magical place indeed. I think being there everyday though for "me" might take some of the magic away. I appreciate it more because I seldom get to visit and when I do it's always fresh and brand new. Love your shot, what beach is this? Must be someplace warm since there is a Yucca plant in the shot.
ReplyDeleteHasn't it been fun to dream about how to spend a million... At one point I would have said an ocean front house would be my preference... now I think I'd love a yurt on the coast of Big Sur... ocean + mountains. But, I'd gladly be your neighbor.
ReplyDeleteHey we could share a fantasy and be next door neighbours !
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! What an incredible view to take in.
ReplyDeleteSweet dream! I just hope your fam's ok with a guest room for Bone :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I think that is exactly what I would do with a million dollars...unfortunately there wouldn't be any left, huh!? haha
